Welcome to the Geography Society of the University of The Gambia. The society is geared towards the promotion of geographic knowledge in the Gambia through research, field visits, seminars and related social activities.
The society has just conducted a general meeting today at Chancery Room 3 where important decisions were reached with regards to its activities and membership. The membership is open to all students of UTG especially geography students. If you are interested, Please get in touch with Draman Janneh, Essa Man Gibba or Isatou Sanneh. The constitution and the names of the executive will be posted soon.
This is a good initiative. I hope the society will live up to expectation. I would want to employ each student of the utg to funish the society with better ideas, views and contributions that will ensure knowledge production.
